Poetry of Resistance is composed of several activities both local and transnational. Here you can find the next steps of our project.
These local events will exhibit the work done throughout the Research and Reflect Work Package. The events will showcase the materials found, conclusions achieved and learning realized. They also will provide moments for debate and promote reflection on the importance of European values, European remembrance and why we must cherish it.
The Capacity-Building will happen in three different moments. The first stage and the final stage will happen locally in each partner’s country. But the major moment will take place in Aveiro, Portugal, with a 3-day workshop where all the partners will meet to develop key competencies in young people in order to promote their active citizenship: historical, media and digital literacy, communication, dialogue and intercultural sensitivity. This, we think, will motivate young people to be active European citizens, sharing European memory and values. And, WE ARE LOOKING FOR PARTICIPANTS =)
The Poetry of Resistance International Forum will take place in May 2024 in Aveiro, Portugal. The 25th April Revolution will serve as a motto to foster international debate on the importance of resistance and remembrance for the preservation of European democracies, as well as the role of the new generations in this process. The event will also serve to present and disseminate the project’s results. You can apply to this transnational event, talk to us!
